Virtual Saddle fittings

After contacting us and paying the appointment fee, you will be emailed a simple form to fill out pertaining to your horse, their history, your experiences together, and your saddle/equipment. Please answer all questions as thoroughly and honestly as possible. 

You will also receive a printable PDF containing a checklist of photos required for the appointment. Please read all the instructions carefully, grab a friend to help, and take your time getting the photos. Any high quality videos showing a good example of your horse's movement and your riding are welcomed and encouraged.  

Photos can be emailed to rocinantesaddlefitting@gmail.com or shared in a Google folder or DropBox. Please reach out with questions or if you need assistance.

Once photos have been sent we will then schedule the 30 minute zoom call. 

Once all of the above materials have been received, Claire will mark-up at least 3 of the photos and put together a report of her findings. Some examples of photo mark-ups are on this page. 

This will include observations on:

- Saddle fit for horse (balance, shape, size, placement, etc.)

- Girth, pads, and other tack.

- Your horse's posture as well as their general shape and how it effects saddle fit. 

- Saddle fit, balance, and posture for rider. 

- Any videos sent.

- And anything else pertinent that comes up!

This where we meet online to go over findings. We will talk about any problems or concerns you have and then talk about solutions. This is where you get to ask your questions. Please be sure you have a pen and paper to take notes.
